DIFFERENCE between essential oil from Ceylon cinnamon (Cinnamomum Zeylanicum) and Chinese cinnamon CASSIA (Cinnamomum Cassia):

Chinese cinnamon CASSIA – stronger more intense distinctly cinnamon scent

Ceylon cinnamon – more reminiscent of clove scent and is less intense
