Use
Fill the cup with drinking water and let it stand before drinking – ideally 6 to 8 hours or overnight. In the Ayurvedic tradition, this water is known as *Tamra Jal*.

Oxidation – a natural process
Pure copper is a living natural material that reacts to oxygen, moisture and water. This can cause discoloration, such as brown or black tones, and over time lead to the formation of a blue-green layer (patina). This is a completely natural oxidation process and a sign of genuine, pure copper. The discoloration does not affect the quality or effectiveness of the product and can be easily removed.
