Use
Fill the cup with drinking water and let it stand before drinking – ideally 6 to 8 hours or overnight. In Ayurvedic tradition, water prepared in this way is called *Tamra Jal*.

Oxidation – a natural process
Pure copper is a living natural material that reacts to oxygen, moisture and water. Discolouration may occur, for example brown or black tones, and over time a blue-green layer (patina) may form. This is a completely natural oxidation process and a typical sign of genuine, pure copper. The change in colour does not affect the quality or functionality of the product and can be easily removed. With regular care, the cup will keep its warm copper colour and characteristic appearance.
