Fill the bottle with drinking water and let it stand before drinking – ideally 6 to 8 hours or overnight. In the Ayurvedic tradition, water prepared in this way is called *Tamra Jal*.
Oxidation – a natural process
Pure copper is a living natural material that reacts to oxygen, moisture and water. This can lead to colour changes – for example brown or black tones – and over time also to the formation of a blue-green layer (patina).
