Pure copper mug with smooth handle (nickel interior) – 400 ml

This special handmade mug in the shape of a beer mug with a brass handle is made of pure copper. The inside is made of nickel. For making copper water: see our other copper glasses.

Over time, copper changes colour due to natural oxidation. This is called patina. The material may also form stains. These are natural properties of copper and have no negative effect on drinking from the copper object. Pure copper reacts with oxygen, water and residual substances in the water, such as sulphur. This means the object has a high copper content and effectively cleans water. Discolouration of the inside is not harmful. If the discolouration changes excessively, you can clean the bottle, jug, water tank or glass.

Do not wash in the dishwasher. Clean with natural soap, a soft sponge and room-temperature water. Protect from direct sunlight.

Our unique copper drinking bottles, jugs, water tanks and cups have been handmade in India for centuries. Since they are handmade, each piece is unique and may therefore differ slightly from the photograph. Imperfections in the material may also occur: this is part of the natural properties of copper.
