How to clean a copper bottle

Copper naturally undergoes an oxidation process over time, which causes the metal to turn black. Previously, to restore the beautiful colour, it was enough to use a mixture of salt and tamarind, which, however, is hard to find in our country. Instead, you can safely use lemon juice, salt or baking soda and vinegar. Of these methods, we recommend lemon — squeeze the juice into the vessel and make sure it reaches every part of the vessel, then after a few minutes of action, rinse thoroughly.
Copper vessels in Ayurveda

Ayurveda views water from a copper vessel as one of the ways to balance all three doshas - Vata, Pitta and Kapha. Storing water in a copper vessel acts as a purifying process for the water, thanks to copper's antibacterial and antimicrobial properties, which eliminate the formation of microorganisms and bacteria that may be present in the water.
